The Old Friends are coming to WARHAMMER II – Gotrek and Felix are making their way into the game and you may be able to recruit them…

The trollslayer Gotrek Gurnisson and his poet-turned-mercenary ally Felix Jaeger are the heroes of a long-running series of Warhammer stories, and a much-demanded addition to the Total War: Warhammer games. 

 

The legendary adventurers and mercenaries will be available to everyone for free through Total War Access from 17th October but if you want to get them early, they're also available in September's print issue of White Dwarf magazine. This will be available in stores as well as via the company's online store.  At this point, fans will need to download them from Total War Access (a free resource on the Total War website).

 

How to Get Gotrek and Felix in Total War: Warhammer 2

 

"Gotrek and Felix are legendary adventurers and mercenaries," writes Creative Assembly; "known throughout the Warhammer world by those that sing their praises and curse their names. Veterans of countless minor scrapes and grand battles, both are formidable warriors in their own right and would make a welcome addition to any army, if a commander is able to keep their attention for long enough…"

 

This means they can function as an army just by themselves, and you can send them off around the world on adventures of their own, or supply them with troops and have them function in the same way as your other armies.

Recruit them in game: Gotrek, a Lord, and Felix a Hero that accompanies him.
