To unlock Fire arrows in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, you first have to get the Arrow Master ability. Arrow Master is in the second tier in the Hunter skill tree, meaning you have to reach Level 5 to unlock it. When you reach Level 5, use one Ability Point to open the first level of Arrow Master. This will get you Paralyzing Arrows, a very useful skill for taming animals and recruiting lieutenants for your ship.
 
The special arrows unlock in stages, as you acquire and upgrade the Arrow Master ability. The first level will unlock paralyzing arrows, the second will add in fire and poison arrows and the third and final will give you explosive arrows. Each level requires an ability point, but the second and third levels are gated by your character level.
 
Tips to craftfire arrows
 
When creating fire arrows, you need to find a source of fire. A fireplace, a brazier, anything that is a fire light source works. Have your bow equipped and go into aim mode, L2 on PlayStation 4. Get close to the fire and you will hear a burning sound effect play if you do it right. This will light your arrow on fire and add additional fire effects to your next shot.
