Watch Dogs: Driving, Hacking, and Crafting Skills Guide

If you want to play well with Watch Dogs, you need grasp some skills. In the following, I’d like to share some necessary skills used in Watch Dogs, including Driving, Hacking, and Crafting Skills.
 
Watch Dogs Driving Skills:

Driving is your main source of transportation in Watch Dogs. It is also more important than most games because you can't shoot and drive at the same time. Besides the hacking skills you can unlock, there are some useful driving skills you should get. The Car Unlock skill is required to move up in the skill tree. Car Unlock and Defensive Driver are available at the beginning of the game. You must complete the fifth story mission in Act 1 called "Open Your World" to unlock the rest. Car Unlock - Costs 1 point. Automatically turns off car alarms and unlocks doors. Precision Driver - Costs 3 points. Tires have a lower chance of blowing out. Escape Artist - Costs 5 points. You can improve the hide in car ability when evading the cops. Defensive Driver - Costs 2 points. Decreases the amount of damage your vehicle takes in a crash. Requires Car Unlock. Off-Road Driver - Costs 3 points. You can increase car handling when driving on grass and dirt. Offensive Driver - Costs 5 points. Increases damage your vehicle does to other vehicles when crashing into them.
 
Watch Dogs Hacking Skills:
 
You start with 3 skills: Hacker's Tool Kit, Utilities, and Traffic Lights. Hacker's Tool Kit - Several hacking exploits that help with combat, stealth, and surveillance. Utilities - Overload building utilities and create explosions. Traffic Lights - Redirect traffic light signals and cause accidents. After completing the mission, "Open Your World", you unlock the ability to purchase several other skills. ATM Hack Boost -Costs 3 points. Increases the amount of money you get from hacking bank accounts. Extra Battery -Costs 1 point. It will add an extra battery slot to the phone. Gates & Garages - Unlocked after the first mission. It will help you to open or close gates and garage doors. Bridges - Costs 1 point. If you need to raise or lower bridges, it requires Gates & Garages.
 
Watch Dogs Crafting Skills:
 
Crafting items in Watch Dogs will give you a huge benefit against your enemies. Once you unlock the Tobias shop you can buy most of these crafted items there. Systems keys cannot be bought you have to hack them off objects and people and they can only be used once. If you need any crafting materials you can buy them at the pawn shops scattered around the city. Crafting items in Watch Dogs is extremely easy if you have the right parts. Just open your weapon wheel and scroll over what item you want to make. If you have the components you can make it.
