Dragon Age Inquisition Guide: Tips and Tricks for Beginners

Time: 2019-07-12

Dragon Age is a role-playing game developed by BioWare that was released on November 3, 2009. The story of a custom-selected character begins, and this choice affects the beginning, development, and ending of the story. From the only formidable barbaric exiles in a group to a dwarf prince who was framed by a brother and exiled, each race has its own different entanglements and legendary adventures. Each choice in the game affects the development of the entire gameplay. As the game progresses, your actions will change the fate of the world. Use your wisdom to build a powerful kingdom and rule it, conquer those neighbors who ignore your mighty power, or create your own legend. Hero or villain, let the player choose.

Do The Dragon Age Keep
BioWare has done something really cool for Inquisition: The Dragon Age Keep website. The Keep lets you go through all the events of the first two games, make or re-make all of the crucial choices in the story, and then import your own custom world-state into the new game. If you're new to the series, it's still worth reading a primer before you do it, but the Keep is absolutely worth doing before you play the game.

Stay classy
Regardless of how you choose to specialize, each character class fills a basic role that should be familiar to any longtime fan of elaborate role-playing games and MMORPGs.

﹒The warrior is your tank class, capable of taking all the damage and drawing all the attention.
﹒The rogue is your damage-per-second (DPS) class, someone who should always take a
﹒rearguard or flanking position so they can spit out an uninterrupted stream of damaging attacks.
﹒The mage is a support class, with spells that inflict status effects or provide bonuses.

Pick Up Items as Often as Possible
If you see raw materials or plants during your travels, always pick them up. They don't take up space in your inventory and you often need them for sidequests, requisitions, and for developing potions.

Developing your Character
Make yourself, like you’re going to spend a lot of time with this character. Don’t be too eager to jump into the game. Spend some quality time making your character. Take some referential screenshots if you get things just right. If something looks wrong once you get into natural light, back out and re-do it. It might feel like it takes a long time at first, but it’s worth the time.
