Dead Space 3: How to get new suits and Tungsten Locations Guide

There are about 16 types of suits in Dead Space 3, including EVA, Arctic Survival Suit, Archaeologist Suit, Legionary Suit, Elite Suit, Engineering Suit, Security Suit, Hostile Environment Suit, Deep Dig Suit, Flight Suit, N7 Armor, Tundra Recon Suit, Marauder Suit, Sharpshooter Suit, First Contact Suit and Witness Suit. Suits are armor for you, so it is important to equip yourself with powerful suits. In the following, we will introduce how to get new suits in Dead Space 3.

You'll find some Tungsten in the Admiral's Office early on in Chapter 4. Right after the cutscene where Isaac zones out, shoot the buck's head that's hanging on the wall to find some Tungsten in a hidden compartment. You'll also get the achievement "Under a Buck" for this discovery. You can find the following cache of Tungsten in the space derelict after you use the Mechanical SK-1P. You won't get any achievements for it, but it's a good find anyway.
 
So far the best I have found is the optional mission on the C.M.S. Greely in Chapter 4. Each run you get around 30 to 40 Tungsten. I did a few runs and now have a shotgun that one shots every enemy and has automatic alternate fire. I will show you how to customize weapons in a future video.
