Bethesda Softworks Talks About Fallout 76: Develop has Encountered Many Difficulties but Sales Are Quite Good

Time: 2019-05-14

On PAX East 2019, Bethesda Softworks hosted a symposium dedicated to the Fallout 76 game. The executive producer Todd Howard revealed that "Fallout76" encountered a lot of difficulties in the development process, after all, is the first online game developed by Bethesda Game Studios. Even so, "Fallout76" is still selling well, and for the content update, Bethesda will have a bigger plan in the next few years.

“For our studio, Fallout 76 is a very new thing. We know that there will be a lot of bumps in this game. In fact, we also encountered some in the development process, some of which are much harder than we thought. For us, "Fallout 76" is very new and different from previous works. But we are also developing some more traditional things; I will call them Bethesda games.

To be honest, we encountered a lot of difficulties in the development process; sometimes these difficulties immediately appeared in front of the screen, you never want them to appear. We expanded our studio and we now have four studios in North America, Rockville (Central Maryland, USA), Austin, Dallas and Montreal. And Fallout 76 needs a lot of people from these four studios to develop together. We know that the launch is just the beginning, and we are really happy that this game actually performs very well.

Fallout 76 has a huge player base of millions and we have received a lot of feedback. Our goal is to create a "Fallout" platform. We have a lot of ideas, and it can be said that it is a wild trip. We are looking forward to the future.

Fallout 76 has become a wonderful experience. We will try our best to reward everyone this year next year, and we have great plans for the next few years. ”
