Respawn showed new Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order footage today as part of a broader Star Wars reveal stream. In a new trailer released Thursday, Electronic Arts has given Star Wars fans a new look at the upcoming action-adventure gameStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

The new trailer, released today to celebrate the Sarlacc-sized merch pit "Triple Force Friday", dives even deeper into the story of Cal fights Stromtroopers, Inquisitors, and deadly beasts. You also get another look at the group of folks Cal will align himself with, as they all have the same, common goal: to find something that's "very precious" to the Empire. What that very precious thing is the trailer doesn't reveal, but it's likely the plot device that will pull players through Fallen Order's narrative.

 

There's a lot to take in here, but the highlight of the trailer is all the attention paid to the Second Sister, the sinister Inquisitor working under Darth Vader who is tracking Cal throughout the galaxy.

 

"Ambitious and cruel, the Second Sister is one of the deadliest members of the Imperial Inquisition. She relishes hunting down both Force-sensitives and political dissidents for the Empire. Although she is an expert lightsaber duelist and adept with the dark side of the Force, the Second Sister's greatest weapon is her brilliant ability to deduce and predict the behavior of her prey."

 

Besides the new bits of story, the trailer offers a fresh look at Fallen Order's gameplay, including some of the big monsters players will have to take down.
